We are a team of passionate, experienced artists who not only love what we do, we also deeply care for our clients. Our goal is to ensure your time spent at Belle Sirène is as unique and memorable as you.

The Stylists

  • Salon Owner + Salon Mentor + Master Stylist

    In 2016, Sherri opened Belle Sirène Salon in the heart of La Jolla Village. The salon concept blends everything Sherri has learned and experienced in her robust career. She is extremely selective with who she invites on her team, not just hiring on skill, but hiring on heart. You will quickly feel the love, passion, and beautiful energy when you spend time at Belle Sirène Salon.

    Today, Sherri works part time behind the chair on her long-time clients, while leaving time to lead her team and nurture the salon business. Outside of the salon, she is mom to two daughters, 5 year old Raea and 2 year old Moxie. She loves yoga, spin, being outdoors, camping with her family, indulging at the spa, eating good food and drinking good wine.

    Nino, born and raised in New Jersey, roamed the streets in New York and Philadelphia looking for the latest trends in hair. With living so close to the city, he would submerge himself in the city’s beauty for individuality. Nino loves to bring out the beauty and confidence in people. Nino’s passion for hair goes beyond the visual. Beauty comes from within, and hair just helps bring it out. Nino graduated in 2009 from New Jersey’s finest beauty institute.

    In the end of 2019, he was set on his mission to relocate to the west coast. He put all his belongings into a Uhaul and drove from the east coast to the Golden State to make his dream a reality.

    To say that hair is Nino’s passion is an understatement. Not only did he make it his career, but he made it his life. Nino lives, breathes, and dreams of the beauty industry. Nino enjoys the education aspect of the industry as well. He is very fashion forward and is always up to date on the latest trends. Nino enjoys mimicking natural hair colors for clients. He loves to see his clients walk away with a smile on their face, and he will make sure you walk out of the salon happy and with confidence! Nino couldn’t be more excited to join the team at Belle Sirène and work along side talented and likeminded artists.

  • Master Stylist

    Originally from Poland and raised in New Jersey, Aleck (short for Aleksandra) relocated to California six years ago to embrace a more holistic lifestyle that complements her creative and professional passions. Though naturally an introvert, Aleck finds comfort and connection when working one-on-one with her clients, creating a safe and welcoming space tailored to their needs.

    With over 12 years of experience in the industry, Aleck specializes in “lived-in” balayage and excels at finding the perfect hair color and placement to suit your everyday lifestyle. Her nine years as an educator for an international company further shaped her into a skilled and knowledgeable stylist who prioritizes personalized care and attention to detail.

    When she’s not behind the chair, Aleck enjoys hanging around nature and traveling the world with her boyfriend, drawing inspiration from diverse cultures and destinations.

    Aleck’s attention to detail, passion for hair, and commitment to her clients satisfaction are some of the many reasons you should consider her as your stylist!

  • Master Stylist

    Carolin is a passionate Master Hairstylist and a certified balayage specialist, with expertise in natural blonding services. From lived-in blondes to caramels and customized highlights, she creates a natural styling that promotes healthy hair.

    Originally from a coastal town by the Baltic sea in Germany, Carolin followed her heart into a career as a hairstylist over two decades ago, where she quickly proved herself as one of the top apprentices in the state, earning a scholarship to a selective masters program. As she grew as a professional, her technical skill and warm personality brought her to some of the best salons in Germany, from Hamburg to Munich. With a learning mindset, she continued to develop as a blonde specialist, which ultimately led to a position as an Educator with a major international beauty brand. She was fortunate to teach alongside top stylists and take creative parts in industry events like Fashion Week Berlin.

    Carolin then decided to fulfill a personal goal of traveling the world to feed her curiosity in new places, people, and cultures. This ultimately led to California, where she lives in La Jolla with her husband and two small children. The sense of community and natural beauty here align with the well-being and radiance of a holistic beauty image. In her career, Carolin has experienced the importance of emotion, authenticity, and true appreciation for the people she brings her passion to. She truly loves to see people glow with a look they feel good about.

    When she is not behind the chair, Carolin enjoys spending time outdoors with her family, practicing her second passion, yoga, and building connections and friendships in her new home.

    Sara is a Northern California native who now calls San Diego home. Growing up she visited salons with her mother where she saw how hair translated into self love and confidence. From prom looks in high school to highlights in dorm rooms, hair has always been a part of her life. After college, she knew she wanted to pursue a career in Cosmetology. It was the best decision she made for herself and she’s been enamored by the industry ever since. She spent 4 years in her small hometown working hard to perfect her craft in order to pursue her dreams in San Diego. Early on in her education, Sara realized her passion for blondes. Her favorite techniques include babylights, balayage, or any type of effortless lived-in color that emulates a well spent day in the sunshine. Sara is passionate in the pursuit of making other people feel confident and creating looks that appear natural. She believes in enhancing the beauty that is already there. Outside of work, Sara enjoys her vinyl record collection, learning a new recipe, spending time with her family and friends, and exploring San Diego. She finds solace at the beach and enjoys being in the sunshine. She is so excited to meet you and give you the hair of your dreams!

    Born and raised in Minnesota, Bri is so happy to call sunny San Diego home! Being in the hair industry for 8 years now, she has enjoyed every part of the journey. She loves being creative and learning new skills and techniques, but her favorite part is getting to know & love her clientele. Having a wide range of specialties- her favorite including blonding, cut & styles, & men’s cuts- Bri loves to do it all!

    Coming from a family of seven, family is incredibly important to her and is a huge part of her life, as well as her faith. She has a deep love for the ocean and any activity she can do in the sunshine. Hiking, skateboarding and surfing have been her favorite new pastimes now since being in California.

    Bri can’t wait to have you in her chair!

  • Senior Stylist

    Originally from Chicago, Lauren knew she had a passion for hair at a young age. She attended the Aveda Institute in Chicago where she discovered her love for hair coloring. She has now been doing hair for 7 years and always dreamed of living in San Diego. She made the move in May 2023 and found her hair home here in La Jolla at Belle Sirene. 

    Lauren specializes in blonding, lived-in looks, natural reds, and hair extensions. One of her favorite services is to use hair extensions to create a customized look without coloring the natural hair. 

    On her days off, she enjoys going to the beach with her Goldendoodle, Harlowe, and experiencing new parts of San Diego.

    Born and raised in San Diego California, Brianna has been in the hair industry since 2012. Her approach to beauty and colors comes from celebrating each woman’s individuality and creating tailored looks to accentuate the natural beauty and personality of her clients. Brianna is up-leveling the lives of her clients and other stylists by creating original looks and sharing her techniques, formulas, and charisma. Mesmerized by the art forms of hair coloring, she has developed a lengthy following of loyal clients throughout her career and is an expert when it comes to creating beautiful, natural looking color. Her individual approach to each client and exceptional attention to detail  is her secret key to making everyone look and feel their most beautiful. Specializing in custom lightening services, the diversity of her colors range from bright shiny blondes to stunning natural brunettes. 

     In 2021, Brianna decided to pack up her belongings and move to the beautiful evergreen state of Washington where she continued her career for three years in Seattle. She then knew that she missed the beautiful San Diego sunshine and has now relocated to Belle Sirène where she is thrilled to continue her passion in her favorite place. 

    In her free time you will catch her cuddling with her dogs, or taking a Pilates class. She loves a good Padres game at Petco Park and indulging in San Diego’s traditional Mexican food. 

    Her art comes from her heart and she wouldn’t have it any other way.

    Specialties: Bright Blonding, Balayage, Custom Foiling, Hand-Tied Extensions

    With established roots in Massachusetts, Jade made a huge coast to coast move in January 2023 to pursue a higher ability in the hair industry. After 8 passionate years behind the chair, she relocated to San Diego and began working with Belle Sirène Salon! She loves taking advanced education and applying new knowledge to her clients to keep them up to date on the latest hair trends. Jade enjoys and prides herself on blended color applications  such as color melting, balayage & custom color/highlighting, along with a new found love for hand tied extensions & hair tinsel. 

    Outside the salon she enjoys finding new places to eat & experience with friends and her fur baby Goku. You can catch her at the farmers markets & the beach! If she isn’t painting hair, you may also find her with a paint brush in hand! Jade loves to get creative in her living space with different elements in home decor & design.

  • Advanced Stylist
    Specialties: Custom Blonding and Brunette Coloring

    A big portion of Ricky’s childhood was spent in a very high-end salon in Northern California where his mother worked as a hairstylist. Ricky’s grandmother was also a salon owner and hairstylist so as you can see, it’s in the genes. Ricky has looked up to hairstylists his whole life. He was raised by them and they were always so loving and good to him. Growing up in the salon he remembers being in awe of their work, how they presented themselves to the world so polished, nurturing and passionate for the magic they created behind the chair.

    Though Ricky went to a local college and received an associates in psychology, he had a pull to attend cosmetology school and follow his mother and grandmothers path. Ricky is now a third generation hairdresser!

    When it comes to hairstyles and methods he loves it all. From grunge to classic, vintage to current trends, and natural effortless beauty to fully polished looks. When Ricky is not doing hair and investing in his education at Belle Sirène, he is likely at the beach surfing, hanging with friends or just watching the sunset bedside a fire.

  • Advanced Stylist
    Specialties: Custom Color Specialist + Dry Haircutting

    To Meagan, in the salon it’s more than just hair. It’s the experience. “I want you to leave looking and feeling like your best self. I’m a talker, and I love to get to know my clients. My consultations are thorough and my services are tailored to fit your budget, lifestyle and vibe. I would consider myself a custom color specialist with an emphasis on blondes. The goal is to be effortless and look “expensive.”

    Meagan was born and raised in the Las Vegas heat. Right after graduating high school she started working for a beauty brand called Aveda- this company would kickstart her journey to becoming a hairstylist. Along the way she dabbled in Nursing and got as far as obtaining her CNA before realizing her passion was to help people in a different way. Aveda offered her an opportunity to leave her hometown and venture off to San Francisco to manage one of their retail spaces. Eight years into her Aveda career she was ready and eager for more, so Aveda assisted with putting her through beauty school at the Aveda Institute in San Francisco. She graduated top in her class and then found her home at a top salon in San Francisco. With a strong foundation in business management, customer service, and a love for blonding and dry hair cutting her career blossomed fast. 

    As life happens, Meagan found her person and they decided to move to San Diego to settle down and have a home base closer to family. Hair is a big part of her joy and outside of that she enjoys spending time with her husband and their mini Australian Shepard, Milo. She’s a big fan of music festivals and a foodie. Her husband is a gamer and has found herself enjoying a game or two. She is so excited to have you in her chair!

  • Stylist

    Being born and raised in the midwest, Tristen now calls San Diego his home. Growing up he experimented on his own hair and that continued when, before his senior year of high school, he moved to Portland, Oregon and started working as a receptionist at one of Portland’s premier salons. 

    Tristen has always loved everything hair. It was while working at this salon that he realized how much passion and love he really had for the art of hair. Enamored by the stunning styles, color, and cuts walking out of the door everyday but also making meaningful connections while working reception, Tristen knew the traditional college route was not for him. Tristen started beauty school a month after graduating high school. After beauty school came a yearlong intensive and fast pasted apprenticeship program, focused on haircutting and blonding. For Tristen it was a pleasure to learn from Portlands top stylists, ones that he admired while being a receptionist. Transitioning from apprentice to stylist, Tristen built a strong clientele of modern lived-in and bright blondes as well as long and short haircuts alike, all of which are finished with a luxurious blowout. Tristen has a meticulous and detailed eye while working at the chair but the deep and lasting connections are equally as important. Tristen’s wish is for every client to leave looking and feeling her most beautiful but also for her to feel heard and valued.

    Tristen is so happy to bring his passion to San Diego and can’t wait to meet you! 

  • Stylist

    Kristina has loved playing with hair ever since she was a little kid. She moved to San Diego from Los Angeles to attend the University of San Diego. After a few years in college and a global pandemic, she decided to follow her true passion and attended cosmetology school in San Diego. While in school Kristina began working at Belle Sirène as the front desk coordinator where she found her love and home in the hair industry. After a little over a year at the front desk watching the stylist work, she got her cosmetology license and entered Belle Sirène’s Mentorship/Assistant program. In this program, Kristina had the opportunity to work with and be mentored by Master Stylists Lorena, Aleck, Bri, Nino, and Sherri. Here she found her love for multiple styles from grey-coverage to beachy blondes. Kristina loves to make people feel special and has an eye for the details.

    Kristina got her associate’s degree in Hospitality Management but was called to finish her BS in Business and is currently a student as well! In her free time, you can find her on a beach or anywhere sunny. Or spending time with her tiny, toothless, rescue pup named, Jazzy!

    Kristina can’t wait to make you feel as beautiful as you are!

  • Stylist

    Whether it was at the beach or styled on her hair, Emily has always been attracted to beachy waves. Born and raised in Sunny San Diego, Emily always knew she wanted to work in the beauty industry. Hair became her passion at a tender age of 17 and she was able to transition straight from high school to one of the most prestigious stylist schools in San Diego, Bellus Academy.  Having graduated in the middle of COVID, only drove her determination to make it to one of the most elite salons in La Jolla. Her dream is to create lifelong friendships with each person who sits in her chair!

    Outside of the salon, you can find Emily dancing the night away at local music festivals, taking long walks down dog beach while defiantly stopping to pet every dog, digging through thrift store racks, or spending quality time with her loved ones!

  • Stylist

    Originally from the central coast of California, Ally has always been drawn to the sun kissed, surf inspired hair. However, she didn’t always know that she would end up actually doing hair. Living in Santa Barbara, Ally originally went to college for nursing and, realizing it wasn’t her path, happened upon cosmetology school where she was able to find her true passion: HAIR! After graduating cosmetology school, Ally got her cosmetology license, lived out a dream of traveling around Europe for a month, and immediately moved to San Diego where she found her work home at Belle Sirène.

    When not at work,  you can find Ally at the farmers market, the beach, daydreaming / planning her next travel adventure, or hanging with her kitties, Ozzie and Matilda.

    Ally enjoys coloring and cutting hair using a health forward approach to keep you and your locks happy. She believes in continued learning through extended education. She is excited for her future at Belle Sirène and looks forward to seeing some of you in her chair!

    Born and raised in Las Vegas, NV, Kaelyn has always aspired to be a hairstylist with the ultimate goal of someday owning her own salon. It’s been a true passion of hers since childhood. Following attending college and earning a Business Management Degree, she completed cosmetology school and spent two years at Square Salon in Las Vegas, working toward fine-tuning her craft and always excited to pursue a wide variety of educational opportunities to keep current with the latest techniques in the industry. Kaelyn recently took a major step in her life’s journey by moving to beautiful San Diego and is elated for the opportunity to build a brand here that exemplifies her philosophy of giving clients a complete luxury experience, while also making them feel comfortable and at home. Details matter. From start to finish… the thoughtfulness the minute one walks through the door upon arrival, to engaging in a comprehensive consultation, getting lost in a relaxing shampoo, and providing a full service that not only simply accentuates their natural beauty, but also ensure they exude their authentic selves…walking out of the salon feeling like a million bucks.

    When not in the salon, Kaelyn enjoys spending quality time with her boyfriend… frequenting the various beaches and San Diego sites/night life, wineries, savoring delicious food, movie night, spending time with family and friends, and taking in a Padres or San Diego Wave FC game whenever possible.

    Hello, I’m Joey, a dedicated stylist at Belle Sirène Salon! I am incredibly fortunate to work under the guidance of the talented Sherri and alongside an exceptional team of professionals who inspire me daily.

    Originally from a charming valley town near Los Angeles, I have always cherished the beauty of California’s coastal landscapes. My passion for the beauty industry began at a young age, rooted in a love for creating confidence and joy in others. While makeup was my initial focus, I have since developed a deep passion for hairstyling, which allows me to connect with clients and help them feel their best.

    I thrive on the creativity of my work and am committed to providing an exceptional experience for everyone who sits in my chair. I look forward to welcoming you to Belle Sirène and helping you achieve your beauty goals!

    With a passion for transforming hair and creating stunning color, Chloe is a skilled color specialist who recently made the move to San Diego from Washington State, though she is originally from Virginia. She began her career in the beauty industry in 2019, where she apprenticed and then became a licensed stylist. Since then, Chloe has dedicated herself to continuous learning, attending advanced classes to refine her skills and stay up-to-date with the latest trends.

    Chloe has a special love for blonding, brunettes, vivid color, color corrections, and hand-tied extensions. She thrives on creating custom looks tailored to each client’s unique style and needs. Whether you’re looking for a dramatic change or subtle enhancement, Chloe’s attention to detail and artistic approach ensure that you’ll leave the salon feeling your best.

    When she’s not behind the chair, Chloe enjoys pottery, staying active at the gym, and spending time with her dog, Leonard.

    Hi my name is Sierra, I was raised in Bemidji Minnesota. I have been living in San Diego for 5 years and I have loved every second of it. I am from a small town so I always had big aspirations and dreams. Growing up I have always loved everything that involves makeup, hair, brows, and more. I was always the friend that would tweeze brows, do make overs, and curl hair. With my love for all things beauty I decided to go to esthetician school. I’ve been an esthetician for 2.5 years and have enjoyed every part of it. I truly love getting to know people and making everyone feel like their best selves. I am the happiest when I make people feel good. Brows can be such a prominent feature for the face. When it comes to the services I offer, with each client i ensure to have a thorough consultation, I pride myself listening to my clients needs and giving them realistic expectations prior to the service! I love thick brows! So we try to keep them full, unless you want to rock an eye catching slim brow. I have a keen eye and I always pay attention to small details. I consider myself to be meticulous! I feel every brow needs a little something, it could be a little color, a fluffy lifted shape, or even a clean striking brow arch. I love fashion, makeup, spending time with family and friends and cuddling up with my two dogs. I love trying new restaurants, I love exploring San Diego, and spending time outside by the pool!

    Caitlin first fell in love with the hair world through watching her Mom work as a hairstylist. As a little kid she colored Barbie’s hair with highlighters, then in high school she styled all her friends’ hair for school dances. She moved to San Diego in 2018 to attend cosmetology school where she learned the ins-and-outs of the beauty industry. Caitlin joined the team at Belle Sirene and was mentored by Master Stylists Aleck and Lorena, where she perfected her skills in both the art of coloring and cutting. She currently works behind the chair at Belle Sirène, doing what she loves next to people she’s inspired by everyday. Caitlin enjoys working on brunette balayages, seamless blondes, adding dimension and simple haircuts to keep your hair healthy!

    Lorena’s passion for hairdressing came early on as a young child playing “beauty salon” on her play dates. Shortly after high school Lorena moved to Los Angeles to get her creative juices flowing and attended a prestigious cosmetology school.

    After 11 years in LA, Lorena relocated to San Diego and planted her heels in Belle Sirène Salon. Lorena had the amazing opportunity to assist celebrity hairstylist and salon owner Sherri Belanger for over a year. Working alongside Sherri with her high profile clientele, Lorena was able to hone in on Sherri’s unique techniques and special blonding formulations. Lorena learned first hand how to create transformative looks while keeping clients hair integrity top priority.

    Her favorite looks to create are beach blonde babes, sun kissed hair placement, shiny-rich brunettes, long layers, and bouncy blowouts. Consultation is extremely important to Lorena and she understands that hair is one of our most important accessories.

    Lorena believes continued education is essential is a hairdressers career. She attends prestigious academy’s and specialty classes to keep up to date with the hair trends, recently becoming certified in the Business of Balayage advanced course. She is excited to connect with new clients and provide beautiful hair at Belle Sirène.

    Being born and raised in sunny San Diego, Megan draws inspiration from surfer beachy hair. In 2013 Megan relocated up the coast to Los Angeles where she began her career at one of Beverly Hill’s top salons, Salon Benjamin. With years of formal training under world renowned celebrity colorist Negin Zand, plus additional apprenticeships under top colorists at Salon Benjamin, Megan was able to perfect her craft as a celebrity colorist. She is known for creating beachy sun-kissed blondes, dazzling redheads and rich brunettes all while being able to combine techniques and maintaining an eye for detail. She loves to mimic children’s hair, soft and subtle but doesn’t shy away from bold and dramatic.

    Calling San Diego home again, Megan enjoys all Southern California culture and spending time with her family and friends. Living at the beach she loves the sun, waves, riding her bike and walking her dog. She is a sports fanatic, travel enthusiast and animal lover.  She enjoys catching a Padres game at Petco, seeing bands at The Casbah and always down for a comedy show.

    Raquel’s first love and passion is haircutting. She loves every aspect of this art. Although she specializes in voluminous, textured haircuts with a modern finish, she enjoys creating the perfect look for every client’s unique texture. Nothing is off the table when it comes to haircutting for Raquel. She is a Central Californian native who started her training under world champion hairstylist Don Estes. Working directly under him gave her the rock solid creative foundation for her skills. From there she relocated to New York for just under 18 years and trained under another world champion stylist couple, Peter and Shirley Webb. Their salon housed second and third generation award winning European competitive stylists from Britain. Always continuing her education and having an interest in everything hair, Raquel has a vast set of skills and knowledge she has built in this industry for 28 years.  

    Raquel has recently located to San Diego to pursue her sunshine dreams! After all her years of experience, she has learned that the first and foremost important thing to establish with every client is trust. “Everyone deserves the best from me and it starts with me listening.” She prides herself on stellar consultations that facilitate putting all her knowledge and experience to work for you. “The industry is constantly changing and I always enjoy changing with it so I can still love my job everyday because it keeps my creative passion alive!”

    Outside of hairstyling, Raquel is a major lover of animals and enjoys riding horses, feeding birds, spending time with her nephews and catching stellar sunsets in her dream city of San Diego. She looks forward to exchanging all the positive vibes with you and can’t wait to see you in her chair.
